Basra The security forces arrested 19 wanted persons and confiscated weapons in Basra.

The Basra Operations Command stated in a statement, “within the course of raids and searches that included areas north of Basra Governorate and the city center, joint forces from the 36th Mechanized Brigade, Commandos Brigade of Operations Command, regiments and police directorates of Basra Governorate arrested 19 wanted persons by the judiciary.”

It added, “the security forces also confiscated 9 Kalashnikov rifles, an RBK rifle, light and medium weapons, and impounded non-original vehicles and motorcycles.
