Baghdad Detachments of the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security arrested two terrorist elements, one of whom was the commander of the so-called Southern Province detachment.

A statement by the Directorate stated that the detachments of the Special Intelligence Missions Cell and the detachments of the Intelligence and Security Directorate of Babylon were able to arrest two members belonging to the terrorist gangs of ISIS in the south of Baghdad, where one of them was occupying the so-called command of the Jableh Sector Detachment affiliated to the so-called Ibrahim Ibn Al-Adham Brigade in the Southern Province, and arrest warrants were issued against them, according to Article (1/4) terrorism, the arrest came after a careful field follow-up of their movements from Babylon Governorate towards the capital, and they are among the most prominent targets of the same directorate.
