Vancouver: Switzerland qualified for the Round of 16 in a match held at PC Place Stadium in Vancouver, as part of the Round of 32 of the World Cup.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Switzerland took an early lead with a goal scored by Breel Embolo in the 10th minute, and then Dan N'Doye added the second goal in the first minute of the second half. Switzerland will face the winner of the Ghana-Colombia match, scheduled for early Saturday morning, in the Round of 16.
