2nd Aid Convoy Dispatched by Imam Hussein Shrine to Support Iran

Baghdad: The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein announced on Saturday the launch of the second convoy to aid the Iranian people. A statement from the shrine, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that "the second convoy to aid the Iranian people set off today, Saturday, to Iran."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement indicated that "the convoy includes an ambulance and 24 trucks loaded with food, medical supplies, and relief materials."

It is worth noting that the first convoy departed at the end of last month and comprised 22 trucks loaded with essential supplies, medical equipment, and various relief materials. Specifically, 8 trucks carried medical supplies and specialized equipment for emergency cases, 6 trucks were dedicated to service and humanitarian aid, and 8 trucks included heavy machinery to support relief efforts.
