New South Wales: A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck the east coast of New South Wales, Australia, on Saturday, with no human or material losses reported.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Australian Geoscience Agency stated in a statement that a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck near the city of Singleton in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, about 200 kilometers north of Sydney, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The Australian Joint Tsunami Warning Center reported that the earthquake posed no tsunami threat to the Australian mainland, islands, or territories.

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck the southwest coast of Western Australia last week.
