4 MPs Officially Withdraw From Taqaddam Party And Bloc Led By Al-Halbousi

Today, Friday, four MPs announced their official withdrawal from Taqaddam party and bloc, led by Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi.

The four MPs are (Falah Al-Zaidan, Latif Al-Warshan, Adel Al-Mahlawi, and Youssef Al-Sabawi).

According to the withdrawal statement, which was published by MP, Adel Al-Mahlawi on his official Facebook account, “a number of members of the House of Representatives, in its fifth session, announce their official withdrawal from the Parliamentary Taqaddam Party and Bloc, and for several observations on the way the party works and the lack of real partnership in decision-making.”

The withdrawing MPs announced, “They will remain within the Sovereignty Coalition in order to preserve the representation of their provinces and their masses in the hope of a new formulation that will restore the coalition’s role, and its members their position in defending the causes of their people and their masses,” according to the statement.
