Basra: Under judicial supervision, approximately 44 kilograms of narcotics were destroyed. The head of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Destruction Committee, Judge Osama Dakhel, explained that the committee destroyed approximately 44 kilograms of various substances that had been seized and stored at the Forensic Medicine Department of the Basra Health Directorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the committee head added, “In coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Forensic Medicine Department, 43 kilograms, 918 grams, and 960 milligrams of narcotics were destroyed.” He continued, “The operation also included the destruction of 91,126 narcotic tablets, 5,492 narcotic drops, and 2,390 ml of narcotic liquids.”
