Baghdad: An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck western Chile on Friday: The European-Mediterranean Seismological Center explained in a statement that the earthquake occurred 859 kilometers west of the city of “Puerto Montt”, and at a depth of 33 kilometers.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, no reports have been received so far of human or material losses.
