According to National Iraqi News Agency, this event follows a significant seismic activity in the region, with Kamchatka experiencing its strongest earthquake since 1952 on July 30, which had a magnitude of 8.8. This major quake resulted in daily aftershocks, though seismologists have indicated that the intensity and frequency of these aftershocks are diminishing over time.
