6.36 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Greece

Baghdad :The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) announced that a 6.36 magnitude earthquake struck Greece. It explained: "The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, making it a shallow tremor capable of causing strong shaking. It was felt by residents of Athens and surrounding areas, as well as neighboring countries such as Turkey and Italy."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Greek National Seismological Service stated: "More than 110 minor aftershocks occurred in the previous 24 hours, reflecting intense seismic activity in the region."
