The Azm and Sovereignty Alliances announced their official support for the nomination of Representative Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The two alliances affirmed, in a joint statement issued early Wednesday morning, their adherence to the constitutional solutions and contexts for electing the Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
