Kirkuk: Governor Rebwar Taha Mustafa of Kirkuk held a crucial meeting with a delegation from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), led by Neddy Matti, who heads the Stabilization Program.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions centered on the implementation of the UNDP’s plans to enhance stability in areas recently liberated. The focus was primarily on the construction and renovation of low-cost homes, alongside various training and rehabilitation initiatives designed to support the local populations. The cooperation between the UNDP and the local government aims to address the urgent housing needs and improve living conditions in these regions.
Governor Mustafa emphasized the importance of international partnerships in achieving sustainable development and recovery in war-torn areas. The meeting highlighted ongoing efforts and future projects that are expected to significantly contribute to the region’s recovery process.
