Hezbollah Targets Israeli Tanks Near Avivim, Claims Tank Destruction and Casualties

Jal al-deir: The Islamic Resistance Hezbollah announced the targeting of two Israeli Merkava tanks with guided missiles near the Avivim settlement, claiming significant damage and casualties among the tank crews.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hezbollah issued a statement indicating that the attack occurred at 10:50 pm on Thursday in Jal al-Deir, located opposite the town of Maroun al-Ras. The organization described the operation as a response to support the “steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip” and as a defensive measure “in defense of Lebanon and its people.” Hezbollah claimed that the missile strike resulted in the tanks burning and led to deaths and injuries among their crews. The statement did not provide specific details about the casualties or the extent of the damage to the Israeli tanks.
