Anbar: In a coordinated operation, the Military Intelligence Directorate has successfully apprehended a member of the ISIS terrorist group in Anbar Governorate, Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Defense revealed that the operation was based on precise intelligence from the Intelligence Division of the Seventh Division. The arrest was made possible through a collaboration with the ground security forces and involved a carefully staged ambush in the Rawah District of Anbar Governorate. The individual, previously active as a fighter within ISIS, was involved in numerous terrorist attacks targeting Iraqi security forces. Following his capture, he was turned over to the appropriate legal authorities as mandated by Iraqi law, specifically under the provisions of Article 4/Terrorism.
