Gaza: The Gaza Health Ministry today reported a significant increase in casualties due to the ongoing conflict in the region, with the death toll now at 42,438 and injuries reaching 99,246 since the violence escalated on October 7.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Gaza Health Ministry highlighted two recent massacres that added 29 deaths and 93 injuries to the growing list of casualties. The incidents occurred within the last 24 hours, overwhelming local hospitals with the influx of victims. The Ministry’s statement also noted the challenges faced by rescue teams, stating, “A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.” This dire situation underscores the severe impact of the conflict on the civilian population in Gaza.
