KIRKUK: In a special ballot for the Kurdistan Region elections, 488 voters from the security services in Kirkuk participated without any reported obstacles. The voting process commenced smoothly at seven o’clock in the morning at a designated polling center, which comprised two stations.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director of the Kirkuk office of the Independent High Electoral Commission, Louay Agha Al-Kaki, confirmed the orderly progress of the voting process. He noted the collaboration between the electoral commission and the security forces, ensuring a seamless voting experience. Additionally, the presence of observers from political entities and civil society organizations was noted, contributing to the transparency of the election process.
