BAGHDAD: The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faeq Jabro, has announced the return of 392 displaced persons from the Al-Dawudiya camp in Dohuk Governorate to their original homes in Sinjar District, Nineveh Governorate. This operation was conducted in collaboration with regional authorities, local governments, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Nineveh.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Migration stated that the minister has directed that the returnees be provided with financial grants and relief aid. This support aims to foster stability in the returnees’ original areas of residence, facilitating their reintegration into the community and helping them rebuild their lives after displacement.
