Wasit: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has inaugurated the Al-Kardhiya Bridge and the second phase of the ring road project in the Wasit Governorate, emphasizing the necessity of addressing encroachments that hinder service projects. According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Prime Minister's media office detailed that Al-Sudani personally reviewed the execution of the project, engaged with its workers, and expressed appreciation for their efforts. He underscored the importance of eliminating any encroachments obstructing service projects to ensure the timely completion of the bridge project, which plays a crucial role in benefiting citizens. The statement outlined that the project encompasses the construction of two bridges, each 528 meters long, with two lanes stretching 1,128 meters in length and 28 meters in width. This initiative is part of the government's program to build ring roads aimed at alleviating traffic congestion significantly.
