BEIRUT: The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, known as Hezbollah, announced today that it carried out a rocket attack on the Kiryat Shmona settlement. The attack took place at 6:00 am on Friday, as part of Hezbollah’s declared support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their resistance efforts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hezbollah’s statement emphasized that the attack was also a defense measure for Lebanon and its people. The organization referred to the operation as a demonstration of solidarity with their Palestinian counterparts and a step towards protecting Lebanese interests.
