Baghdad: The Federal Police Command forces have successfully arrested eight suspects in Baghdad, implementing various legal provisions in a coordinated operation across multiple districts.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were carried out by the First Division units of the Federal Police. The suspects are wanted for a range of legal violations, including execution orders, involvement in quarrels, trespassing on state property, dealing in illegal oil products, possession of unlicensed weapons, and random shooting. The operations took place in the areas of Nahrawan, Diyala Bridge, Al-Zafaraniya, and Al-Obaidi Presidency in Baghdad.
The Federal Police Command also reported the seizure of a Kalashnikov rifle, ammunition stores, and a Mercedes tanker truck during the operations. These confiscations are part of the ongoing efforts to curb illegal activities and maintain law and order in the region.
