Karbala: The Governor of Karbala, Naseef Al-Khattabi, met with a delegation from the Chinese company ZTE, which specializes in communications and information technology, at the governorate building. The discussions focused on exploring joint cooperation between the two parties to establish technological projects in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting involved a review of ZTE’s capabilities and their projects in various countries worldwide. The discussions emphasized the establishment of several projects in modern technology as part of the governorate’s plan to transform Karbala into a smart city, akin to other modern and advanced cities.
