Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received a draft memorandum of understanding aimed at establishing the Supreme Ministerial Council between the governments of Iraq and the Netherlands. The initiative marks a significant step toward enhancing bilateral relations across various sectors to achieve mutual benefits and common interests.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the draft MoU was presented to Al-Sudani by the Dutch Ambassador to Iraq, Ms. Janet Alberda. The meeting underscored the importance of ministerial cooperation between the two nations, aiming to strengthen ties in numerous fields. The discussion also addressed the potential withdrawal of the coalition and the initiation of deeper bilateral relations.

Further, the conversation extended to regional issues, specifically the conditions in Lebanon and Gaza. Both sides emphasized the urgent need to halt ongoing conflicts and ensure the delivery of relief aid to areas and individuals affected by these aggressions.
