Baghdad: Speaker of the House of Representatives Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani and the Head of the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq Sheikh Humam Hamoudi engaged in discussions today concerning the entitlements and challenges currently facing the nation. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media office of the President of the Supreme Council released a statement indicating that Sheikh Hamoudi welcomed Speaker Al-Mashhadani, extending congratulations on his recent assumption of the council’s presidency. Their dialogue highlighted the importance of fulfilling constitutional obligations to bolster the political process, which in turn impacts the functionality of state institutions.
