Baghdad: The Coordination Framework has confirmed its commitment to transform the directives of Sayyid Ali al-Sistani into actionable steps. This commitment follows a statement issued by the office of the Supreme Religious Authority after his meeting with the head of the UNAMI mission in Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Coordination Framework expressed its “full commitment to follow Sayyid al-Sistani’s directives and turn them into practical steps that reflect the aspirations of the people.” The statement emphasized the importance of adopting competence and integrity in leadership selection, preventing foreign interference, establishing the rule of law, and addressing corruption. Participants in the political process were urged to embody these principles to achieve these goals.
