Diyala: A force from the Diyala Police carried out a security operation south of Baqubah, the center of the governorate. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Colonel Haitham Al-Shammari, the media spokesman for the Diyala Police Command, stated that a force from the Seventh Diyala Emergency Regiment executed a security operation from two axes to comb agricultural areas and orchards south of the Bahraz district, near the banks of the Diyala River.

The operation aims to secure the area, prevent terrorist cells from finding safe havens, and strengthen security points with advanced surveillance. This initiative saw the effective participation of the police dog department to search complex areas, enhancing the operation’s thoroughness and reach.
