Hillah: A fire broke out in a popular market in the Al-Haswa area, affiliated with the Alexandria district, north of Hillah, the center of Babylon Governorate. The blaze caused significant damage to several kiosks and stalls within the market.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director of Civil Defense Media in Babylon, Aqil Abdullah, confirmed the incident, stating that the fire resulted in the destruction of multiple market structures. Fortunately, there were no human injuries reported.

The police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the causes of the fire.
