Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faiq Zidane, met with the First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, and Yasser Al-Maliki, Head of the State of Law Bloc in the Council of Representatives, to discuss cooperation between the executive and judicial authorities. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Supreme Judicial Council released a statement indicating that Judge Zidane focused on the collaboration between the judicial and legislative authorities, particularly in the approval of laws pertinent to the judiciary's operations.
