Explosion Claims 17 Lives at Main Train Station in Pakistan.


Quetta: At least 17 people were killed in an explosion that occurred today, Saturday, at the main train station in Balochistan province, southwestern Pakistan, according to medical and police officials. The incident has raised concerns as authorities work to understand the cause of the explosion.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mohammad Baloch, a local police official, confirmed the current death toll and stated efforts are ongoing to determine the nature of the explosion. The local police inspector general, Moazzam Jah Ansari, cautioned that the death toll might increase as further investigations are conducted.

Waseem Baig, a spokesman for Sandman Hospital in Quetta, reported that 46 people were injured in the explosion. Emergency services and medical teams are actively responding to the situation, providing necessary treatment to the injured and supporting the affected families.
