Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohsen Al-Mandalawi engaged in a discussion with former Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim Al-Jubouri regarding the latest developments in the political landscape across the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the House of Representatives released a statement indicating that Al-Mandalawi hosted Al-Jubouri at his residence to address several critical files and local matters. The meeting concentrated on recent political developments nationwide, as well as the social and security conditions prevalent in Diyala Governorate. Discussions also included the governorate’s requirements for strategic, service, and investment projects.

Furthermore, the statement highlighted that the meeting covered the laws currently in the process of maturation by the House of Representatives, with an aim to legislate them in the upcoming phase. This legislative focus is part of a broader effort to address and prioritize the pressing needs and chall
enges faced by the country.
