Riyadh: Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, chaired the preparatory ministerial meeting for the extraordinary Arab and Islamic summit scheduled to be held tomorrow, Monday. The meeting took place in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this summit serves as an extension of the joint Arab-Islamic summit that was held in Riyadh on 27 Rabi` al-Akhir 1445 AH, corresponding to November 11, 2023 AD. The summit is being organized based on the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and continues the efforts made by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The meeting was conducted in coordination with leaders from sister Arab and Islamic countries.

The preparatory meeting focused on discussing the agenda for the upcoming summit, along with the most prominent issues that are set to be addressed.
