ANBAR: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have significantly increased their military presence in the Anbar Operations Sector as part of a comprehensive strategy to secure the Iraqi-Syrian border. This move aims to prevent any infiltration attempts and bolster regional security.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Commander of Anbar operations for the PMF, Qasim Muslih, announced the deployment of substantial military reinforcements to enhance border security. Muslih stated that the reinforcements are part of a strategic plan designed to protect the region from potential threats and maintain stability.

Muslih elaborated that the military advancements are supported by the reinforcement of key directorates, particularly the Logistics Support Directorate, which provides essential supplies, and the Intelligence Directorate, responsible for gathering and analyzing data to ensure the precision of operations. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to address the ongoing security challenges faced by the country.

Muslih emphasized that the Anbar Operations Sector continues to receive reinforcements to safeguard the critical border area. He reaffirmed the PMF’s commitment to upholding Iraqi sovereignty and ensuring stability in Anbar Governorate and its neighboring regions.
