Gaza Strip: The “Al-Qassam” Brigades, in coordination with the “Al-Quds Brigades,” engaged in a confrontation with an Israeli infantry unit, resulting in the death of one Israeli soldier. The brigades reported that the clash involved ten Israeli soldiers armed with weapons and hand grenades.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the “Al-Qassam Brigades,” the military arm of Hamas, issued a statement detailing the joint operation with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine. The statement described a violent encounter with a Zionist infantry force, during which the brigades successfully killed and wounded several soldiers. They specifically noted pursuing and killing a soldier who attempted to escape the scene near Beit Lahia city in the northern Gaza Strip.

Additionally, the Al-Quds Brigades reported a separate engagement where their fighters raided a house in the Jabalia camp, where enemy soldiers had taken refuge. Before withdrawing, an explosive device left by the enemy was detonated in the building. A helicopter was later observed evacuating the casualties.
