The House of Representatives Adjourns Its Session After Draft Law Reading


Baghdad: The House of Representatives decided to adjourn its session held today, Sunday, after completing the first reading of the draft law on the protection of the rights of minorities.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the session focused on reviewing and discussing the provisions of the proposed draft law that aims to safeguard the rights of various minority groups within the country. The completion of this first reading marks a significant step in the legislative process, as representatives initiate discussions on the important issue of minority rights protection.
