Al-Araji and Turkish Foreign Minister Focus on Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation


Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji received Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in his office today, Sunday, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Turkey across various sectors.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions primarily focused on improving collaboration in security matters, particularly in combating terrorism and exchanging intelligence. Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening ties to address shared security concerns effectively.



The meeting also addressed the ongoing situation in Syria, highlighting the need for unified international stances to ensure the integrity and unity of Syrian territory and its people. The dialogue underscored the significance of coordinated efforts in stabilizing the region.
