Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has instructed the Federal Integrity Commission to conduct an audit on the procedures of the Ministry of Communications concerning cases related to the smuggling of internet capacities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the directive was announced by the Iraqi government spokesman, Bassem Al-Awadi. He stated that the Prime Minister has explicitly called for an audit of the contract involving the transit capacities of IQ Internet Services Company. This directive will be carried out in coordination with the Parliamentary Integrity Committee to ascertain if there are any new contracts associated with the company in question.
