Baqubah: A young woman committed suicide by hanging herself inside her home north of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate. The incident occurred in the Dar al-Salam district, part of the Khalis district, where the woman used a women’s scarf to take her life.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, initial indications suggest that the woman was suffering from psychological problems. Her body has been transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department for further examination. Meanwhile, local police have initiated an investigation to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
