Basra: Basra heavy and medium crude recorded a loss during the past week.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Basra heavy crude closed its last session with an increase of 34 cents, reaching $74.53, but still recorded a weekly loss of 44 cents, equivalent to 0.59%.

Basra medium crude also saw an increase of 34 cents, closing at $77.58, but it registered a weekly loss of 54 cents, equivalent to 0.69%.

In contrast, Brent crude recorded a weekly increase of about 0.5%, while West Texas Intermediate crude experienced a marginal rise of about 0.01%.
