Maysan: Security forces have arrested a person accused of drug trafficking and promotion in Maysan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Rapid Response Division Command revealed that a force from the Fourth Brigade, part of the Rapid Response Division Command in the Ministry of Interior, apprehended the individual. The arrest was made in coordination with the Directorate of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in the governorate.

The accused, who was wanted by the Iraqi judiciary under the provisions of Article (28) of Narcotics, has been handed over to the requesting party as part of the ongoing legal process.
