Metahara: A 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck the area 6 kilometers north-northeast of the city of Metahara in Ethiopia at 20:28:23 GMT on Friday, according to the US Geological Survey.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, at the intersection of latitude 8.96 degrees north and longitude 39.93 degrees east.

So far, there have been no reports of material damage or human losses as a result of the earthquake. Local authorities continue to assess the situation and monitor any possible developments.
