Baghdad: The seismic observatories of the Meteorological Authority recorded two earthquakes this evening, Sunday, located 90 km from the Iraqi-Iranian border. The first earthquake measured 4.7 degrees in magnitude, while the second registered a magnitude of 5.2 degrees.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Authority’s statement noted that the tremors were felt by citizens in areas near the border.
