Bali: International naval exercises under the name “Komodo 2025” have been launched on the Indonesian island of Bali, with the participation of more than 30 countries, including Russia, the United States, and China.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy, Admiral Muhammad Ali, stated that “The Komodo multilateral naval exercise is being held this year for the fifth time, and by continuously conducting these exercises, the Indonesian Navy has always expressed its strong commitment to global cooperation.”

He continued to elaborate on the exercises, noting that efforts in the coming days will focus on humanitarian and relief exercises and responding to disasters on both land and sea.

The report also highlighted that a detachment of ships from the Russian Pacific Fleet, including the frigates “Rizki” and “Hero of Russia Aldar Tsedinga,” had arrived earlier, supported by the medium-sized naval tanker “Pechinga,” to participate in the international exercises “Komodo-2025.”
