Baghdad: The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Saturday, that its forces were able to eliminate 1,080 Ukrainian soldiers, in addition to regaining control of the town of Novolobovka in Luhansk, during the past 24 hours.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry stated, in its daily report on the progress of the military operation in Ukraine, that its forces were able to destroy the infrastructure of military airports, sites for storing strike drones and training drone operators, ammunition and fuel depots, in addition to temporary deployment points for Ukrainian forces in 157 areas.

The report explained that the Russian air defenses were able to shoot down a “Mig-29 aircraft and 58 Ukrainian drones, in addition to two HIMARS missiles and two Hammer guided air bombs.”
