Iranian Interior Minister to Visit Baghdad for Historic Agreement


Baghdad: Parliamentary and political figures revealed that Iranian Interior Minister Iskandar Momeni will visit Baghdad today, Saturday, to sign a memorandum of understanding, the first of its kind, allowing residents of both countries to travel in their private cars.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this agreement marks a significant step in enhancing bilateral relations between Iran and Iraq. The memorandum aims to facilitate cross-border travel and improve connectivity for the citizens of both nations, promoting easier access and fostering closer ties.
