Baghdad: Representative Karim Aliwi Al-Muhammadawi, Head of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, engaged in discussions with Alexander Lerval, the political advisor to the Norwegian Embassy, to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Norway.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing diplomatic ties and facilitating the opening of the Norwegian Embassy in Baghdad. Al-Muhammadawi emphasized the importance of security and economic stability across Iraq, extending an invitation to Norwegian companies to actively participate in the country’s economic landscape.
