US State Department Highlights UN’s Critical Move in Ukrainian Conflict Resolution

New York: US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce announced that “the UN Security Council’s adoption of the US resolution on Ukraine was the first important step taken by the United Nations towards resolving the conflict.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Bruce added, “The United Nations did, for the first time, something useful and valuable regarding this war, by passing our resolution calling for peace.” She highlighted that this initiative marks a significant stride by the UN in addressing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Bruce pointed out that “US President Donald Trump seeks to find quick solutions to problems, and he does so in his own way.” She elaborated on Trump’s approach, emphasizing his strategy of engaging the United Nations to adhere to its charter and pursue straightforward solutions that prioritize peace without being bogged down by complex mechanisms.

She concluded by stating, “this is exactly what happened today in the UN Security Council,” underscoring the alignment of the resolution with President Trump’s vision for expeditious conflict resolution.
