Baghdad: Head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna Al-Samarrai, received the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Muhammad Al-Zaman, in his office in the capital, Baghdad, today, Tuesday. A statement by the alliance highlighted the discussions focused on bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait and explored ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Samarrai emphasized the importance of consolidating Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations based on mutual respect and common interests. He pointed out the role that diplomacy can play in supporting stability in the region. The Kuwaiti Ambassador, for his part, expressed his aspiration to enhance cooperation between the two nations. He stressed Kuwait’s keenness to develop relations with Iraq and strengthen the frameworks of economic and political cooperation, contributing to achieving common interests.
