Khanaqin: The Popular Mobilization Forces have launched a large-scale security operation in the Gali Basin areas within the Khanaqin District. The operation’s primary objective is to track down remnants of the terrorist group “ISIS” and secure regions experiencing heightened terrorist activity.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Popular Mobilization Authority released a statement detailing the operation’s goals. The initiative aims to enhance security and stability across all areas of the Diyala Governorate, addressing threats posed by terrorist elements.
