Doha: Israel rejected everything offered to it in exchange for establishing the State of Palestine. Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani confirmed: “Israel was offered security guarantees and economic integration into the Arab world in exchange for agreeing to establish an independent Palestinian state, but it rejected all these offers.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al Thani stated in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson that Qatar was willing to provide security guarantees to Israel and integrate economically with the country. This included proposals that would involve the disarmament of the future Palestinian state, implying a compromise on complete independence. Despite these offers, Al Thani emphasized that Israel rejected all proposals.

He further mentioned that, historically, a few Israeli leaders recognized the establishment of a Palestinian state as the only viable solution. However, he noted that in recent years, there has been a lack of such courageous leadership willing to advocate for this resolution.

Al Thani elaborated on the security risks faced by Israel, linking them to the absence of a Palestinian state. He suggested that these threats would persist unless a Palestinian state is established.
