Baghdad: The Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, to discuss Iraq’s stance on the ongoing developments in the region, particularly after the recent Jeddah and Cairo summits.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Amiri’s media office released a statement indicating that the meeting took place at an iftar banquet in Baghdad, attended by undersecretaries, department heads from the Ministries, and several Iraqi Ambassadors stationed abroad, as well as the leadership body of the Badr Organization.

The discussions during the meeting centered on Iraq’s political climate, foreign affairs, and international relations, with a focus on neighboring countries and cooperative efforts regarding the Syrian crisis. Moreover, the bilateral relations with the international coalition were also a topic of discussion.

Furthermore, the two sides explored Iraq’s position on current regional events, with particular emphasis on the situation in the Gaza Strip and the outcomes of the Islamic Summit in Jeddah and the Arab Summit in Cairo. The discussions also included the meetings held on the sidelines of these summits with Arab and Islamic nations.
