Baghdad: Forces from the 30th Brigade, part of the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, have strengthened their deployment to secure the Iraqi-Syrian border.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Authority stated in a statement: “The forces have opened up along the Iraqi-Syrian border along a 15-kilometer line, reinforced with various medium and heavy weapons and thermal cameras to monitor, monitor, and protect the border from any potential threat.”

It explained: “The brigade’s forces continue to deploy security around the clock, in support of the Border Guard Forces holding the area, with high coordination and cooperation to prevent any breach of the Iraqi-Syrian border.”
